Why Mental Health
At Orange Hub Events, we believe mental health deserves the same attention and celebration as physical wellness. In today’s fast-paced world, mental well-being is often neglected or misunderstood — but it’s at the heart of how we live, work, connect, and grow. According to global studies, 1 in 4 people will experience mental health issues at some point in their lives. Yet the stigma surrounding mental health keeps millions from seeking help, speaking up, or even recognizing the signs. That’s why we’ve chosen mental health as our flagship cause — to start conversations, break barriers, and create safe spaces for awareness and healing through the power of community events.

Hyderabad's Mental Health Snapshot

- Around 32% of Hyderabadis fall into the “distressed” or “struggling” brackets, exhibiting emotional struggles, strained relationships, and reduced mental performance timesofindia.indiatimes.com.
- Young adults (18–24) average just 27 points, placing them squarely in the “enduring” category, with nearly half reporting debilitating distress timesofindia.indiatimes.com
Why This Matters Here
Hyderabad’s rapid growth brings pressures:
Work and life imbalance — lengthy hours, intense competition, and traffic stress, especially in IT hubs like Hitech City and Gachibowli.
Urban stress factors — noise, congestion, pollution, and absence of quiet, green spaces elevate anxiety and burnout levels .
Lifestyle issues — tech-driven sedentary habits, digital overload, unhealthy eating, sleep disturbances — all contributing to mental health risks.
